網球與藝術 - Tennis x art: Tennis Ball by Wayne Thiebaud

名為Tennis Ball的油畫是美國藝術家偉恩．第伯(Wayne Thiebaud, 1920) 在1968年所畫的作品。曾在咖啡店工作的偉恩．第伯對於咖啡店的生活小物特別感興趣，也將這些平凡的物品當作主角作畫，運用濃厚的顏料以誇飾的色彩和鮮明的輪廓描繪這些大眾文化中的物品，例如蛋糕、甜筒、派、熱狗、聖代等，都是他知名的作品，讓我們重新回味這些平凡物品中的美好。

這幅30.5x30.5公分的Tennis Ball，在2010年時的蘇富比拍賣會上以36萬美元(約1,100萬台幣)賣出。
