美國畫家Constantin Alajalov(1900 - 1987)在1935年為The New Yorker雜誌所繪製的雜誌封面，以網球相關的插圖，右邊是贏得比賽與獎盃和掌聲圍繞的冠軍，左邊則是輸了比賽，卻獲得滿滿收入的”輸家“！有趣的描繪，網球世界有如此？

Constantin Alajalov出生於俄羅斯，23歲時移民美國紐約。他的許多插畫作品可在當時的The New Yorker、The Saturday Evening Post和Fortune等雜誌上看到。漫畫般的線條，加上雅緻的細節與和諧的色彩，Constantin Alajalov的作品展現獨特發覺世界的幽默，有著易懂淺顯的故事性，以及對當時美國生活的諷刺。被譽為美國插畫的經典之一，許多作品如今收藏在紐約現代藝術博物館和布魯克林博物館。
